Top Notch Executive Chef required...

A Private Estate in the Seattle area is looking for an experienced Head Chef. This is a hands on position reporting to the Head of Culinary Operations. The Head Chef will manage a team of 4 and will be responsible for the planning, purchasing and overall meal preparation for the family ensuring an efficient and exquisite food service to the owners, family and guests. 


Our Ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree (A.A.) in Culinary Arts and/or certification from a culinary institution and 6+ years’ experience working as a Chef in a private home or high end restaurant. Must have at least 3 years in a head chef/management role. Experience cooking across many different cuisines is essential to be successful in this position. You will need to be creative, organized and flexible with the ability to work with all level of people. Strong communication skills both verbal and written is imperative. 


This is a service orientated role with a demanding, environment and frequent changes. The ability to maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information is a critical. 


This positon will traditionally work Sunday – Thursday out of the main residence but will be asked to travel on occasion to both international and domestic locations. You must be maintain a flexible schedule and be available to work nights, weekends and holidays. 


Strong preference for local candidates, but we will consider relocation for the right candidate. Relocation assistance would be provided.
